PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily exchange a disk by relatively positioning a head and the disk at a high speed with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A rotary plate 15 having a handle 14 is freely turnably mounted by means of a supporting member 16 and a supporting shaft 17 on the right end side of a substrate 13 and a spindle motor 19 is fixed with the disk 18 on the upper side to the rotary plate 15. A cassette 26 holding the head 25 is fixed to a moving section shaft of a rotary type positioning control mechanism 27. The rotary type positioning control mechanism 27 is mounted on an X stage 28. The X-stage is supported at a base 11 movably in an X direction. The rotary plate 15 is manually and rotationally moved to a position where a slight angleθis made to remain between itself and the substrate 13. The rotary plate 15 is then gradually rotatably driven to a position where the plate abuts the substrate 13, by which the disk 18 and the head 25 are positioned.
