PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of facsimile transmission on a composite image forming device having a facsimile application and other applications. SOLUTION: The facsimile transmission is performed by connecting files, which more than two of the facsimile application and other applications have, into one file to be transmitted on a management table, without putting them together as different files. The connected files to be transmitted are inhibited from being altered or erased by other applications until the facsimile transmission ends.
