<p>This invention aims at the development of filters of activated carbon and biocatalysts (cells) for the effective retention of harmful and carcinogenic compounds from tobacco smoke, indoors and outdoors air and engine exhaust. These compounds include tar, benzo[α]pyrene, acetaldehyde, acrolein, benzene, 1,3 butadiene, carbon monoxide, isoprene, methanethiol, nitric oxide, toluene and hydrogen sulphide.</p> |
