One leg (14) of a driving unit (4) is suspended to a basic portion (12) such that the leg can be folded towards the basic portion when an endless chain is contacted suddenly due to the result of a stroke. The stroke is performed if the drive unit lower corner in a transport position hits a board to be transported. The leg automatically returns to a normal position forming right angle with the basic portion. Predetermined number of driving units are arranged on the endless chains. A transporting device takes the boards further towards the stations wherein the boards are laid off. Each drive unit is provided with two legs (13,14) that form right angle with the basic portion in normal position. |
