The invention discloses a method of channel estimation used in spread spectrum communication techniques, the method involves spreading the frequency spectrum of a data resource input from the transmit terminal by a pair of orthogonal spread spectrum code group to form two-way signals transmitting in double channels, and transmitting after combined; dividing the received signals into two channels at the receiving terminal using the same orthogonal spread spectrum code group, and carrying out the combined channel estimation by the double channel signals. The properties of the communication system employing the invention are influenced less by the movement speed of a mobile device, thus effectively overcoming the influence on the amplitude and phase of signals by the deep attenuation resulting from the high-speed movement, and ensuring modulation mode in higher dimensions in case of high-speed movement to guarantee the transmitting in a high data rate.
