A toner image fixing device (50) has a heat-resistant sheet (54) that possesses excellent durability, fixing ability, transporting ability and working reliability. In a toner image fixing device that has a fixing roller (52), a pressure member (51) disposed as pressed against the fixing roller (52), and a heat-resistant sheet (54) secured between the fixing roller (52) and the pressure member (51) and fixes a toner image (3) on a recording medium (2) by heat while the latter (2) passing through nip portion formed between the fixing roller (52) and the heat-resistant sheet (54). The heat-resistant sheet (54) is a sheet made of synthetic resin PTFE containing polyimide.
