An information processing system for displaying contents containing a balloon pattern, which contains a balloon character display information field for displaying balloon characters. To these balloon characters, there are correlated voice information and/or character information, one of which is outputted by designating the balloon pattern with a mouse or the like. The balloon characters, the voice information and the character information may be different languages or may be set by the designation of a user. The contents are preferably cartoons.
