TAPER THREADED JOINT

A taper threaded joint, wherein a clearance (L1[mm]) between the thread top face (1a) of a tapered male thread (1) and the thread bottom face (2b) of a tapered female thread (2) or a clearance (L2[mm]) between the thread bottom face (1c) of the tapered male thread (1) and the thread top face (2c) of the tapered female thread (2), whichever comes smaller (L[mm]), is so related as delta 2L if an interference amount is required for the thread part, whereby a thread having sufficient tensile and compressive resistance forces can be manufactured easily with a correct working allowance and, particularly in a threaded joint for well pipe having a metal seal part, a reliability can be increased because the sealability thereof is excellent.
