The invention relates to a remote-controlled system for the management, control and inspection of frauds in the exploitation of recreational and/or prize machines. Data pertaining to the exploitation of the machines is sent via a long-range radioelectrical module or bi-directional telephone line to a central unit by means of a device that is installed inside the recreational machine. Said central unit receives alarm signals pertaining to irregularities in the exploitation or fraud in the collections of the machines. Information received in the central unit makes it possible to provide remote maintenance to the recreational machines without having to dispatch operators. Statistical means make it possible to control and indicate deviations from typical operation of the machines and to assess their profitability and acceptance by the consumer. An additional short-range radioelectrical and bi-directional communications module makes it possible to concentrate data pertaining to alarm signals and exploitation of several machines located in the same premises. Said data is then sent to the central unit in charge of exploitation by means of a long-range communications module.
