The light metal crank shaft (1) bearings (8) are slid or inserted into closed or divided bearing-holders belonging to a preferably light metal crank housing, on the outer diameter of crank discs (3). The crank shaft has one or more crank pins (2) between which are axial recesses in which are fixed metal counter-weights (5) with a higher specific gravity than the light metal.
