An information system for efficiently providing information separately to terminals. An information providing system for providing a content created for an individual terminal (4) by a content provider (1) to the terminal (4) comprises a broadcasting station (3) for broadcasting a content in a data broadcast and a content transmission coordinator (2) for requesting the broadcasting station to send the content created by the content provider, acquiring the information necessary to receive the content from the broadcasting station, and presenting the information through a communication line to the terminal. In such a way, a content is transmitted from a broadcasting system to a terminal, and information necessary for the broadcasting system to receive the content is transmitted to the terminal through a communication system, thereby enabling efficient information provision.
