The present invention is used in conjunction with two piece connector systems (30, 40). The present invention provides an integral keying (50) and an electrostatic discharge path. The daughter connector (40) has at least two electrostatic discharge paths into an electrostatic discharge contact (150) which then provides a path to a guide pin (36) of the backpanel housing (32).
