A color display device and a color display method by which data on three colors, i.e. red, green and blue, is displayed in monochrome synchronously with successive ONs/OFFs of light sources of the respective three colors. A preferable working example is such that the light sources of red, green and blue are turned on/off in order of red, green, and blue and the ONs/OFFs of the red, green, blue and green light sources are defined as one cycle and the red, green and blue light sources are turned on/off by repeating the cycle. |
