<p>Simplifying the processing required for obtaining information of a mobile terminal in an in-area packet switch, and for specifying a plurality of processing functions for information stored in a simplified authentication number, and for distributing the information avoids the need for increasing the scale of signal processing and the associated facility. In order to achieve such simplification, each of in-area packet switches (SGSN) 3 and 13, which include message processing portion 21, a plurality of sub units 22-1 to 22-n, and message receiving/distributing portion 23, disburses provisional identification numbers and simplified authentication numbers storing identification codes (ID No. 1 to No. n) for specifying the sub units when information-containing position registrations is received from mobile terminals 5-1a to 16-nn. Preferably at this time, the in-area packet switch holds the information of mobile terminals 5-1a to 16-nn. Thereafter, the in-area packet switch specifies sub units 22-1 to 22-n on the basis of respective identification codes stored in the simplified authentication number from the mobile terminals, and distributes the information from the mobile terminals to the sub units accordingly.</p> |
