[Also in Group XXXIV] Vehicle brake control means comprises two adjacent pedals 21, 22 for respectively operating the brake or brakes on the right and left of a vehicle, and a master pedal 11, 13 which, upon depression, carries with it, through arm 14 and cross-bar 15, the other two pedals, the pedal 11, 13 not interfering with individual depression of pedal 21 or 22. The cross-bar 15 can rock up to 150 degrees in a slot in arm 14 to enable pedals 21, 22 to be depressed unequal amounts should one pedal require a greater throw than the other for full brake application. All the pedals may be mounted on the same pivot or the pedal 11, 13 may have a separate pivot. |
