MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF SILICON CRYSTAL FOR SOLAR CELL AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of cast silicon to be supplied at a low cost as the raw material for a solar cell element having large size and stable quality, and to provide a process of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This manufacturing device comprises a melting furnace for melting silicon, a casting furnace for crystallization and a piping connecting them by which pressure of both furnaces can be adjusted. Through controlled transferring of molten silicon from the melting furnace to the casting furnace, cast silicon is obtained which can be used as the raw material for low cost solar cell element having large size and stable quality.
