PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding defect detecting method capable of detecting abnormal folding occurred in a bending work process of a printer, even failure occurred around a center of a printing matter, a folding defect detecting device using the method, and a folding machine capable of producing the printing matter meeting required quality. SOLUTION: When a printing matter having a formed image on a single surface or both surfaces thereof is folded and cut in a predetermined size and finished in a predetermined shape, occurrence of abnormal folding is detected by a sound occurred in folding work in this detecting method. The folding defect detecting device using the above method and the folding machine equipped therewith are also provided. |
