<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the number of components to increase assembling man-hours by the reason of respective existances of a lock means for locking an air bag module to a steering wheel body and an energizing means for the air bag module. SOLUTION: In this steering wheel, the energizing means 4 is inserted into a slide part between the steering wheel body 1 and the air bag module 5 from a direction crosswise to a slide direction of the air bag module 5. Thereby, the air bag module 5 is energized upward, while the air bag module 5 is locked to the steering wheel body 1 at the same time. Because the upward energizing of the air bag module 5 and the lock of the air bag module 5 to the steering wheel body 1 are executed with a single operation only by inserting the energizing means 4 from the direction crosswise to the slide direction of the steering wheel body 1 and the air bag module 5, the assembling man-hours can be drastically reduced, and the number of the components can be reduced to reduce a production cost.</p> |
