SOLUTION: An infrared image and a visible image of the observer are acquired (S102), and gravity center coordinates of a high luminance area in the infrared image is determined (S105). A density value of visible image picture elements corresponding to the gravity center coordinates is determined, and the high luminance area including the gravity center coordinates corresponding to the visible image picture elements having the lowest density value is determined as a retina reflected image of the observer (S107), and the gravity center coordinates are decided as the pupillary position.
