PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality print and, at the same time, a low cost photographic paper for thermal transfer. SOLUTION: This photographic paper for thermal transfer is produced by providing a dye accepting layer 2 on a sheet-like base material 1. The gloss of the sheet-like base material 1 is set to be 20% or higher in the 60 deg. gloss and, at the same time, the coating thickness of the dye accepting layer 2 is set to be 1.5 g/m2 or more and 3.5 g/m2 or less. |
