PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for supplying ink in a rotary press which cause no stain due to a phenomenon of drying of ink or scattering thereof in a printing process and prevent loss of ink in replacement thereof and which minimize wasteful use of ink even for a wide variety of printing objects and reduce the use of cleaning water. SOLUTION: In the equipment and the method for supplying ink in the rotary press provided herein as basic means, an anilox roll 15 is disposed at a position where it faces hermetically-closed type ink holding magazines 11 fitted to a circular precision chain 12, and a die cylinder 20 having a printing plate 21 fixed on the surface detachably is disposed at a position where it comes into contact with the anilox roll 15. The ink supplied into the ink holding magazines 11 is applied onto the printing plate 21 through the intermediary of the anilox roll 15 and put for printing on a corrugated fiberboard sheet 22 as the printing object which is brought into pressure contact with the printing plate 21.
