PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To illuminate a display in a prescribed extent of even a printed display surface of a non-light transmitting material. SOLUTION: A meter lighting system comprises a frame body 10 fully enclosing a display panel 11 for various meters, a lighting part 50 engaged by an elastic jaw 51b with an opening in the frame body 10 to light the various meters via a given shape of a window 51c and a lens 54, and light emitting diodes 53 of the three primary colors housed in the lighting part 50. The frame body 10 fully encloses the various-meters display panel 11, so that the directivity that is formed by the given shape of the window 51c and the lens 54 of the lighting part 50 can light 1 or more on the display panel 11 of the various- meters in the region with an explicit boundary. |
