PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which can improve transparency of water by ozone purification at low cost and to provide a water purifying system utilizing the filter. SOLUTION: The water purifying system is provided with a water conveying pump 13, constituting an ozone supply means for supplying ozone water 3 to water 1 in a pool 100 is constituted of, an ejector 14, an ozone generator 15, a dissolving tank 16 or the like, a sand filter 12 provided at an upstream side of the ozone supply means and a filter unit 20 which incorporates the filter 21 provided with a filter layer 22 made of any among polyvinylidene chloride, polyvinyl chloride and silica series ceramics and makes the water 1 supplied with the ozone water 3 pass through the filter 21 and return to the pool 100.
