PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesive properties of a disposable diaper having an elastically stretchable coating member with a periphery of a leg. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 comprises the coating member 3 covering a crotch region and a girth of a diaper wearing person. The member 3 has an elastically stretchable first layer 3a and a non-elastic extendible second layer 3b formed of many continuous fibers. The fibers are fixed to the layer 3a by at least two connecting parts 21. The member 3 has particularly large value of a radio L/D of a length L of the fiber between the parts 21 to rectilinear distance D at a prescribe site A of the member 3.
