PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve game property by stopping a rotating reel in one of a stop mode out of two or more stop modes in a prescribed internal state. SOLUTION: When a prize is won (a prescribed internal state is obtained) in a bonus game in this game machine such as a slot machine, the rotating reel is stopped at either reel control (the stop mode) out of a first reel control or second reel control (two or more stop modes) (steps S72, S74, S76). In the case of a failure (a prescribed internal state), the rotating reel is stopped at either reel control out of a third reel control or fourth reel control (steps S82, S84, S86). The internal state and reel control do not therefore correspond to each other to cause a surprise, so that interest in operating a stop button (a second operating part) is increased to improve game property.
