PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fixing strength of a cap with respect to a container and to facilitate separation of the cap from the container. SOLUTION: When the ROPP cap 100 is fitted over a container mouth, a lower end portion of the cap 100 is bent inward along a neck portion 101b of the container mouth. Also, the edge of the lower end portion is formed into a turned-up fold 100f along the shape of the container.
