PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the seating performance of such a type of vehicular seat for permitting an elderly person, a physically handicapped person and the like to get in and out of the vehicle easily as has a conventional structure where the seat cushion is divided into two front and rear pieces and the front divided cushion is slid outward of the vehicle cabin. SOLUTION: This vehicular seat comprises a slide mechanism 20 for sliding a divided cushion 10 in a vehicle width direction separately from a seat back 3, and a turntable 53 for turning the divided cushion 10 slid outward of the vehicle cabin via the slide mechanism 20 between a vehicle front-facing position and a vehicle side-facing position. This structure can permit an occupant seated with the back facing the vehicle cabin to turn, together with the divided cushion 10, to the vehicle front-facing position and to get in more easily.
