PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down quilt which can prevent the detachment of a Futon cover from a Futon (Japanese quilt). SOLUTION: This down quilt has down housed in a bag body consisting of an upper fabric 2 and a lower fabric 3 and is provided with quilting stitches 7 for preventing biasing of the housed feathers in a square form. The end on at least either of the head side or foot side of the coverlet is provided with a gore part 5 forming an end face of the Futon and the central part in the Futon thickness direction of the gore part 5 is fixed to the quilting stitches 7 on the side nearer the inner side in the longitudinal direction of the Futon than the side edges of the Futon.
