PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door checker device for a vehicle allowing the increase of opening/closing holding force and miniaturization by restraining the whole circumference of a check plate bar, and allowing the integration of an elastic body with a cushioning material. SOLUTION: A check plate 1 is held from the whole circumferential direction by a slider 2 arranged in the whole circumferential direction, to permit the increase of door opening holding torque and the miniaturization of a case following it. A hole for fitting a cushioning projecting part 3a to be a cushioning part of the elastic body 3 is formed in the surface of the case 4, and the elastic body 3 is fitted therein to serve as the cushioning material heretofore needed between the case 4 and a stopper plate 5.
