PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working device capable of being inexpensively constituted by a simple structure and surely preventing breakage in even a tool of an extremely fine diameter. SOLUTION: Rotational load is detected by a rotation phase difference generated by torsion deformation of a band-shaped piece 125 connected to the middle of a rotation transmission path. Feeding load is detected by deformation amount of a supporting body 148 deformed by displacement of a feeding direction of a bearing body 147 journalling a spindle 117. Whether working is interrupted or not is judged by a load limit value with rotational load and feeding load as variables.
