PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed water heater easily feeding purified water which is purified by oxidizing and decomposing substances stuck to adsorbent in the purification part by photocatalytic reaction, and capable of maintaining the initial water purifing activity. SOLUTION: This water feed heater is provided with a hot water feed part composed of a hot water storage vessel 8 and a heater 10, the water purification part having the adsorbent 1 carrying the photocatalyst, and a changeover valve 20 changing over from purified water discharge from the water purification part to the water feed from the water purification part to the hot water feed part. This feed water heater can easily deliver the purified water from the water purification part to the outside, easily feed water to the hot water storage vessel and utilize the photocatalytic reaction for regeneration of the adsorbent so as to prevent the adsorbing performance from lowering.
