PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to know how many harmful constituents his vehicle emits via exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A display device of exhaust gas from a vehicle comprises an exhaust gas sensor 2 for the gas that an engine emits, an exhaust gas concentration computing means 4 for computing an exhaust gas concentration from signal values from the exhaust gas sensor, a picture display 3 disposed in the vehicle and in the field of vision of the driver, and a picture generating means 5 for forming the exhaust gas concentration computed by the exhaust gas concentration computing means into time-series picture signals providing a graph, numeric value, color or the like to generate a time-series picture on the picture display.
