PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside support device for a tire chain which is formed thin so as to be mountable even in a narrow space between a chassis and the inner side face of a tire, simple in constitution, excellent durability, suitable for mass production, economical, capable of fixing a wire to fastening plate positively, firmly and stably in a well-balanced manner without difficulty, restraining the wire from being cut off and free from the possibility of damaging the inner side face of the tire. SOLUTION: This inside support device is provided with a pair of fastening plates B, C and a plurality of chain fittings D. The fastening plates B, C are composed of suitable metal plates, and base end side lateral side parts and center parts are provided with fixing parts 2, 3, 6, 7 formed by bending tightening pieces in nearly U-shaped to tighten a wire A. The chain fitting D is formed of a fitting plate 10 formed of a suitable metal band plate, and a base end part is provided with a fixing part 11 formed by bending an end part in nearly U-shaped to tighten the wire A, while a tip part is provided with a folded part 12 formed by bending the end part in nearly U-shaped to swingingly mount a fitting ring 13 for fitting a cross chain G or the like.
