PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly obtain a stable measured value without unnecessarily controlling a driving means. SOLUTION: Positioning areas A1 to A3 of a reference position and an examining part of an eye to be examined are arranged in a concentric circle shape in a plane vertical to the optical axis O of the examining part for contacting with the apex of a cornea when the eye to be examined exists in a proper position. The area A1 is set as a measurement allowing driving control area for allowing measurement and controlling the driving means so as to align a positional reference of the eye to be examined with the optical axis O of the examining part. The area A2 is arranged in the area A1, and is set as a measurement allowing area for allowing measurement. The area A3 is arranged outside the areas A1 and A2, and is set as a driving control area for controlling the driving means so as to align the positional reference of the eye to be examined with the optical axis O of the examining part. An operation processing part judges in which area of the areas A1 to A3 the reference position of the eye to be examined exists, and changes control and a positioning method on the basis of the judged areas A1 to A3. |
