PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the air sucked by a fan more efficiently sterilize and to suppress the leak of a noise of the fan, a motor or the like outside the air cleaner. SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided with a blower 13 for passing the air sucked from a suction port 2 into a main body case 8 through a filter 11 and blowing off the air from a blow-out port 4 at the inside of an air blasting path for communicating the suction port 2 with the blow-out port 4 provided at the main body case 8. In this air cleaner, a sound insulating section 20 for bending air flow in a zigzag shape is formed at a side of the blow-out port 4 than the blower 13 in the air blasting path. Further a UV lamp 22 as a bactericidal lamp is provided in the sound insulating section 20 so that bending air flow crosses the UV lamp 22 plural times. In such a way, leak of noise generated at the blower from the blow-out port can be suppressed and further air passing through the sound insulating section can be sufficiently sterilized by irradiating the air with light of the bactericidal lamp provided at the sound insulating section for a longer time. |
