The invention relates to a flexible composite material for producing waterproof items of clothing, tents, sleeping bags, shoes and dividing walls for shoes, or similar objects which can be used outdoors. Said composite material contains an external layer consisting of a flat textile material or similar as the surface material, a hydrophilic membrane which is at least single-ply and an internal layer which is at least single-ply. The material is characterised in that the penetration time of a drop of water for the internal layer, measured in accordance with a drop dissipation test that complies with AATCC 79-1992, is less than 10 sec. |
