PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of accurately counting the number of prize balls to be discharged even after an electric failure is detected. SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a control device used for a game, a discharge mechanism for discharging game balls, and a discharge sensor for detecting the game balls to be discharged from the discharge mechanism, the control device detecting the condition of the discharge sensor at first predetermined intervals and counting the number of game balls to be discharged. Abnormal power monitoring means is provided for detecting the abnormality of the power to be supplied to the control device. When the abnormality of power is detected by the abnormal power monitoring means, the control device stops detecting the condition of the discharge sensor at the first predetermined intervals for detecting the condition of the discharge sensor at timings different from the first predetermined intervals.
