PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine with a game restarting announcement which eliminates disadvantage for a player due to the restarting of game without advance notice to the player after the returning of the power source in a type having a memory for storing and preserving the game state as counter measure for the cutting of the power source. SOLUTION: The game state before the cutting of the power source is stored and preserved into a memory 12 having a game controller 10 built thereinto and before the restarting of game after the return of the power source, 'restart game' is announced to a player by an announcing device 40. The announcing device 40 concurrently serves as pattern display device with a lamp and announces 'restart game' acoustically with a speaker or the like.
