<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting a work which can control the generation of waving in the cutting surface of the work and the buckling of the work when it is cut. SOLUTION: In the neighbourhood of the center of the pressure chamber of a pressure container, the work 6 in which crushed areas 9 are formed is arranged, a side pressure transmission cylinder is arranged on the periphery of the work 6, and an O-ring is arranged between both end parts in the axial direction of the cylinder and the pressure container. A plane 6a is formed on the side of the work 6, and the crushed areas 9 are formed by being irradiated with high density energy beams 8a from the side of the plane 6a. By introducing a pressure medium into the pressure chamber, the work 6 is pressurized through the cylinder, and the work 6 is cut in the areas 9.</p> |
