PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction stir connecting tool which prevents a joint from the deterioration of the strength that is joint strength decline or fatigue strength decline and the like, can obtain a joint having excellent strength reliability. SOLUTION: The connecting tool 10 is provided a large diameter rotor 11 and a small diameter rotor 12 arranged on the rotational axis line of the end surface 11a of the rotor 11. And outer circumference surface is provided with a groove line 15 along the full length of the probe 12 extending parallel with the axis line of the probe. Furthermore the outer circumference surface is provided with a groove line 13 and a projection line 14 for stirring, helically in the region from intermediate part to base end along the axis line of the probe. |
