PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scattering ceramic paste which can suppress the occurrence of precipitation to the utmost after paste preparation, and a precipitate even if occurs, is easily dispersed by stirring. SOLUTION: The light scattering ceramic paste is used to form the light scattering film which is coated on the glass surface and baked. The paste contains a low melting glass powder, an inorganic oxide powder as the light scattering base material and an organic dispersion medium. The inorganic oxide powder has a melting point higher than the softening point of the melting glass powder and is non-coloring powder with an average particle size of <=2μm. The inorganic oxide powder of 1-25 pts.wt. is added to 100 pts.wt. low melting glass powder.
