TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR RACING TIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tread rubber composition for a racing tire excellent in processability and capable of raising gripping performances for wet road surfaces without markedly worsening abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This tread rubber composition for the racing tire is obtained by further compounding a fraipontite-silica composite in an amount of 5-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a rubber in the tread rubber composition for the racing tire comprising carbon black compounded in an amount of 100-200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component comprising at least 80 wt.% of an SBR with 35-50 wt.% styrene content, silica compounded in an amount of <=100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component and the carbon black and silica compounded in the total amount of 100-200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component.
