PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film having low-temperature processability, capable of being formed into a thin film, especially excellent in oxygen barrier and steam barrier properties and composed of an aromatic liquid crystal polyester. SOLUTION: This film is obtained by melting and extruding the aromatic liquid crystal polyester comprising 65-25 mol% repeating unit (A) and 35-75 mol%; repeating unit (B) based on the whole repeating units, and having <=300 deg.C fluidization temperature, >=4.0 dl/g logarithm viscosity and 0.20-0.80 value of the ratio (viscosity 2/viscosity 1) of the melt viscosity (viscosity 2) measured at the temperature 20 deg.C higher than the fluidization temperature at a shear rate of 100 sec-1 or 1,000 sec-1 to the melt viscosity (viscosity 1) measured at the fluidization temperature at the sear rate same as that at the measurement of the viscosity 2.
