PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional printing device that the correction of a second slipping amount variable corresponding to the kind of paper, a size of the paper, a printing speed, the paper feeding pressure, the separating pressure or the like as the characteristic values of the factors relating to the paper sliding, having the influence on the sliding of the second paper in clamping a point of the paper by a paper clamper of an impression cylinder from a registration sensor, is not in consideration. SOLUTION: This printing device has a controller 200 for controlling a registration motor 102 for compensating the sliding of the second paper on the basis of output signals from a kind of paper detecting sensor 75 of a group of characteristic value detecting means 190, a group of paper size detecting sensors 56, a printing speed detecting sensor 62, a group of fed paper pressure detecting sensors 118, and a group of separating pressure detecting sensors 128, that is, the characteristic values as the factors relating to the paper sliding having the influence on the sliding of the second paper in clamping the point of the paper 3 by the paper clamper 21 of the impression cylinder 20 from the registration sensor 71.
