PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which does not lower an excretion absorbing capability in an inseam region. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper comprises both side edges 4a longitudinally extended at a panel 4 interposed between a front surface sheet 2 and a rear surface sheet 3, and both end edges 4b horizontally extended in such a manner that stripe grooves 12 formed by compressing the panel 4 in a thickness direction are spaced apart oppositely and extended longitudinally at an inside of the edges 4a of the panel 4, the grooves 12 are separated at a given size longitudinally at a center 4B of the panel 4 and longitudinal both ends 12a of the grooves 12 are disposed near both edges 4b of the panel 4.
