PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to be conveniently used and even a hemiplegic person to use a lavatory easily by oneself by combining the respective advantages of a paper diaper and an underpants type paper diaper for rehabilitation both of which are currently used, to enable adjustment of the waist according to the physique of a user to prevent the diaper from falling and adjustment of deformation even when being used for a long time, and to facilitate inventory control of the diaper by unifying the types and sizes of the diaper as much as possible. SOLUTION: A notch is made on the abdominal elastic belt of the underpants type paper diaper for rehabilitation, and an abdominal elastic belt adjusting part 9 is provided to adjust the waist. An abdominal part side front part 3 containing a polymer absorbent 1 is not joined to the abdominal elastic belt but are fixed attachably/detachably at both sides. A side adhesive tape for fixing front 4, an adhesive tape stopper for adjusting the abdominal elastic belt 10 and a front cover fixing part are provided. The attachable/detachable fixing parts at both sides are made to be easily removed by single hand to easily open and close the front part.
