PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method and a beehive for beekeeping, capable of excellently carrying out a beekeeping by using a Japanese bee. SOLUTION: This method for beekeeping is performed by using a Japanese bee and inserting a beehive frame holding a Japanese bee beehive unit into the beehive. A dividedly sealed Japanese bee group is introduced into the beehive and is made to form the beehive unit. When the beehive units are largely made in several stages of the beehive 1, a thin wire or edged tool is passed through between the first-stage beehive 2 and the second-stage beehive 3 and moved in the horizontal direction. The upper part of the beehive unit in the beehive 1 is separated, the beehive unit is taken out from the removed first-stage beehive 2 and honey is collected from the beehive unit. Then a cover plate 5 is attached to the opened top of the second-stage beehive 3 to make the Japanese bee continue beehive building.
