PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convection type soldering method and it's apparatus for metallic work-pieces such as Al, Cu, or, Fe and the like which makes it possible to heat the work-pieces uniformly to prevent the work-pieces from being deformed, and which improves working efficiency by reducing heating time. SOLUTION: A metallic work-pieces to which soldering material and flux are previously adhered is set up within an index type convection furnace. After the temperature of the work-pieces has been increased up to soldering temperature by spraying heating medium gas to this metallic work-pieces, as making the temperature of the heating medium gas fluctuate in a predetermined cycle between a temperature a little higher than soldering temperature and a temperature at least 5% lower than soldering temperature, soldering is performed. This method enables uniform soldering and eliminates the temperature inclination of the work-pieces.
