PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant conveying speed even during moving-aside of a knurling belt. SOLUTION: This sheet conveying device comprises a shaft 7a, a fixed roller 7a2 fixed on the shaft 7c, a one way clutch roller 7a1 having a one way clutch fixed on the shaft 7c, a knurling belt 190 having an inner surface making contact with the outer periphery of the one way clutch roller 7a1, and a driven roller 7b forced into pressure contact with the fixed roller 7a2 and the outer periphery of the knurling belt 190 to form a nip.
