PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using microorganisms which is suitable for bio-remediation. SOLUTION: In the method for using microorganisms, the microorganisms are propagated by embedding white charcoal such as Bincho charcoal (hard high-class charcoal produced from Wakayama prefecture, Japan) in soil S for bio-remediation.
